The 6210 I had converted to a 6250 seems to have a prob charging its batteries. The owner's charger, an ACP-9 model, can't seem to charge it, in spite of the fact the battery meter was moving. Refering to netmon23 CmAh and Targ, both values remain at zero even for extended charging times. Using ACP-9 on a 3310, it works correctly.

However, when I use a model ACP-8U or ACP-7, the "6250" charges correctly, with values showing for netmon23 CmAh and Targ.

Prob is the owner claims the unit worked with the ACP-9 before the conversion. When I returned the back-up flash, the phone still exhibited the same non-charging behaviour with the ACP-9.

Any thoughts? Is the ACP-9 not compatible with a "6250"? Is an ACP-9 the standard charger bundled with an 6210?

Thanks.

My 6210 came with an ACP-8E and it works correctly on my converted 6210, too. But in my car-kit the batterie won't get full - it stays at 80% while loading and loading...

i seem to have the same problem in my car (cark-91) the values in netmon-23 seems to remain at zero. looking at nokia homepage, a car installation set called cark-111 is mentioned - NOT the cark-91 which is used for 6210 (and a lot of other by the way)

is this the reason?

oups! i dobblechecked: it is only the holder that is different in the two sets. could the connectors be different?

Hmm, I have an adapter for a 6110! for my car-kit and it had worked correctly with my 6110 and later I used the same for my 6210, because there is not one for it. But there's an adapter for a 6250, because it has another plug! => Hardware-problem, perhaps software, too.

There are a lot of things different - so my DLR-3 doesn't work any more. I have to use my DAU-9P (FBus/MBus) from my flasher-kit, while the 6210 supports both of them. So there might by any more surprises  about 6250... ;)

Hello,

I am having the same problem with cark-91.
The 6210 converted to 6250 will not charge battery in the carkit.
The battery meter goes up and down and the battery will discharge completely. There must be some difference in the carkit for 6210 and the one for 6250....
If anyone knows how to solve this please let me know by email...or in this post.
For the moment I had to revert the 6250 "clone" to a real 6210...although I miss some of the great 6250 software.

Thanks.
