Help, 3595 data cable problems

I just purchased a FBUS/MBUS data cable for my nokia 3595 and I can't get it detected in ANY software. Is there any trick with this phone at all? I tried adjusting com port irq's as suggested in previous posts but this didn't seem to help. Any other ideas?

hi...can u post a pic of your cable...i can help u ...but i need to see what kind is...anyway on your connector shoulb be a clip , unscrew the connector thake that clip away , screwthe conector back and it shoud work.
