Now is possible to upgrade 3330 to 3350, :

1. for 3310 make sure for the lates version, for 3330 all can be done.
2. use this attachmen.
3. Change LCD, Frame, and key tone.
4. Allhamdulillah, Now can be 3350

but the problem is to get the LCD, Frame, and key tone.... :)

but how can a 3310/3315 be converted to 3350?
3350 have 32 MB ROM, and 3310 have 16MB ROM.

some of 3310 or 3315 have 32 mb ram

LCD is liquide crystal display, frame is place for LCD, key tone is think under the key pad.

Yes 3310 is possible to change to 3350 but make sure the 3310 PCB is manufacture in 2002 .

1) change the RAM and flash to use 3330 ram and flash .
2) change the LCD
3) Full flash the phone with 3350 data file.

and its done :)

A new 3350. Why to do all these stuff just for an upgrade? You will spend money anyway in buying the LCD and the like...

i hear some 1 in malaysia can 3310 =>3350 with out changing hardware( i guess) on new version 3310.
any 1 know how to do it.

It's impossible to work without changing hardware. The most obvious difference is the front side.

In my experience and in my place, this is a more reasonable approach because it costs less when you just upgrade it rather than replace it.:)

I also haven't encountered 3310/15 with 32mb ROM. They have 16mb ROMs.

And you definitely need to do some hardware changes, Flash ROM, Flash RAM, and UI Interface (thats whole LCD panel with keypads).

On a 3330 though, all you need to change is the UI Interface since its Flash ROM and RAM are just the same with the 3350.

Regarding which boards could be used, just look for the ones with extra keypads on the PCB. Or you can check that they have IMEI's starting with 350144 or higher i guess coz i've first seen these boards with the 4.45 versions.
