3650 - mobilewebcam - MESSENGER

Hi everybody !

I have installed mobile webcam on the phone. And on the pc. I connect the phone with INfrared and it works, i see the live video on the pc.
Then I installed Luminosity webcam on the pc. IN a way that i can use it with chat applications.
BUT when i start Windows messanger and try to set up the webcam , the messanger got frozen !
Do you think is there any way to use it like this?

Help me please, or should i use any other software instead of Luminosity?

wow some one eith the same problem as me!!!!! i have been trying to fix this for over a month with no luck, i though it was just my pc being an arse

i really can think of what is wrong
when i cclose messenger after it has frozen softcam pops up

I have had the same problem with MSN messenger. Try using Yahoo messenger. I have found that it works great!! One more thing IR is so jumpy and not even worth it. Try bluetooth.

I've downloaded SoftCam for the PC but when I've tried to install it, it told me that it works only with Win 95/98, but I'm with XP ? What I have to do and are there any proper solutions for that problem. I need to use my 3650 as a webcam desperately. Help. Thanks in advance :-x

is there a way to use yahoo messenger with my hotmail account, i dont know a single person who uses yahoo, and i have over 170 contacts on my msn messenger

true that. Those are my thoughts exactly. I tried putting in hotmail accounts into Yahoo and no luck. I have heard from that other thread i posted earlier that there is a software called webcamXP that works better than softcam. I heard it doesnt make msn freeze, but I haven't tried it yet.

Have you guys heard of trillion? dunno if its got a web cam support but it does yahoo, msn and icq messengers in 1.... just a thought maybe

so my last post was before I had a bluetooth card. Now I have one and the image is still soooo slow. It it just me or is anyone else experiencing serious lag between phone and s60 over bluetooth?

Man i use softcam wit messenger (both MSN n yahoo) n here's how ya shd go about it.. First reboot your cellphone, n then close any n all applications running.. I'm talking about everything.. The only appl that shd be running is the sys app which is telephone.. now compress memory n run remotes60 n start using it as a webcam.. shdn't have any probs...

i cant run softcam with my phone not even connected, messenger freezes when i click use as webcam, close mesenger then softcam pops up, it has 100% nothing to do with my fone, softcam jus takes the image on the monitor whihc is created with mobile,
