Hi

I've read the sticky posts on this thread, and I think that it's therefore ok to post this here, but if I have got the wrong place, please accept my apologies and tell me where I should post this!

I have a Nokia 7110 which I'd like to unlock. Is it possible to do this remotely without cables etc? It's on Orange in the UK, and the imei number is 449313107973980.

Thanks for any help!

Matt

7110 is a DCT3 phone and DCT3 phones CANNOT be unlocked remotely, so you will definitely need a cable to unlock it to all kinds of network.

You Could Either:

1. Bring your phone to where you bought your phone (Dealer) and let them unlock your phone (they will definitely also use a data/mbus cable to unlock it).

2. Get yourself a data/mbus cable and unlock your DCT3 phone.

Thanks for the info. I have a 7650 as well and I'm trying to get that unlocked - I only need to unlock one of them, so I'll be trying that first - I've posted on the other (correct) thread for that phone.

Thanks again for the info!
