copy n-gage games

is it possible to copy the files from a n-gage games card with a card reader to your pc, and than copy it to a blank mmc and play the games from your copy or is the n-gage game card locked or something?

i do believe the ngage employs similar technology to the x-box or ps 2... meaning if u copy the game, the ngage will not run it.

do you mean it wont run it because it has been pirated or because it needs a modification chip to run recopied games.... :)

i would also like to know for sure if this can be dun. i currently have a 3650 and am considering upgrading to the n-gage but i dont wanna have to buy the games. thats why i like my 3650 so much, i just dl the game i want and upload it to the 3650 and thats it.

i suppose when the n-gage becums mor popular all the answers will be answered but i want it asap.

why do you want to cpy the games!!! the mmc them selves dont come that cheaply

You can use one blank MMC for all your game colection which you could store on your PC.

Want to play a game? Erase the MMC and copy the new game. Next game? Erase again and copy.

Problem is you can only carry a game at a time, but it's better than nothing.

If it works I will buy the n-gage for sure.

i'm definitely going to buy a n-gage even if ist not possible to copy the games than i have to buy the games, who cares no one is so pour that you cant spend 30$ on a game. but it would be nice if you can copy the games for free. :rolleyes:

Of course there will be some kind of protection. Its most likely not possible to read the MMC's. Theres already much software available for Palm, delivered on MMC cards. And I don't think it's possible to read them.

i think the resources should go into getting the games to play on a 3650/6600

And yes there are ppl you can't pay 30 bucks for a game, but they probably won't buy the n-gage anyway. 30 dolars for a handheld game is a bit expensive, in comparison with a PC game...they are cute, but...there isn't so much money investment to be returned. Good PC games cost big bucks.

The big deal is you don't have to carry both around. That's the concept of all-in-one.

copying games is easey, but to make them work is harder, either your phone won't reconise the card or the phone tells you the card is damaged, and turns off...

but in a few weeks there will probibly be a dude that loses his job or something, and he will tell us everything we need to know to copy and make the games work...

for now just download them and store them for the future!!!

i ve pirited alot of things and i am only 16 for example Ms Windows Xp was sopose to be uncrackable but it was cracked weeks before release every thing has its flaws that we expoase to make it free or better softwear, games, sat tv, cable, DvDs, every thing u name it some ones prob goten it free or goten it to do things the makers didnt want it to do so sure enough there will be a way to get them to work if there all ready online were just a step away from game heaven. but as for me buying a n gage i am not interested in it beisdes more ram, fm radio and being made FOR GAMES its notttin dat out weighs my 3650 since i can play mp3s get sonic n witch is a n gage game and other games and 200 bucks cheaper i am ok wit my 3650 now if the n gage could have a intergrated cam and be smaller like have the sides fold or slide in to the screen area then mos def i would buy it
