8310 bought 4 months ago - now blocked !

Hey guys I got a major problem,

as you know from the subject, my 8310 is blocked after buying it from someone I know 4 months ago. I rang Orange up and they said they cant do anything about it.

They told me that the original owner has requested for the phone to be blocked, and the IMEI is now blocked.

Also Orange cant tell me who the original owner is, so I cant him.

Can someone tell me all my options ?

PS : The person who I got it from has decided to give me £30 back.

nope...the imei is on a once programmable chip....the phone is lost/stolen originally and unless you have the original receipts for the phone from the owner and can prove he sold it to you and then reported it as stolen.....then you are screwed...
