saving tones & sw upgrade

is it possible to upgrade 3310 from 4.24 to 6.07 and save the ringtones already saved to phone, and do i flash mcu and ppm files or just one so that i will save ringtones. appreciate any help or advise

First make a full backup (just in case).
If i remember correctly, if you do not do a full flash (means do not flash the EEPROM area), i think then the custom ringtones and pictures remain.. If not, you can always just flash the backup back (and u can use tools like FlashTONE and PPMManager to export the ringtones from the backup flash (file) and import them to the new flash). Anywayz, just play, it'll work :)
