Myx-3 field 16140 Infrared

I have changed and reset the 16140 field to try and enable extra features but all I got was the minigolf game and the GPRS menu NO infrared. How can I enable infrared as I want to use it with my laptop for uploading ringtones etc as my data cable is incompatible with sagem my pictures and sound?
