Restriced Access Code For 6800

I just bought a 6800 from my friend who had a plan with cingular but decided to get a motorolla (i tried to tell him not to!). the only problem is when i put in another SIM card it sayes restriced Access Code required. can anyone help me out here, i really want to have this phone?

The phone is locked to the Cingular network by default when he bought the phone. It is very easy to get it to work with your SIM though. Go to the Unlock Codes section of this forum and post your IMEI # (found inside the battery compartment, there is a key code to get it on the phone but I don't know what it is) and post the network it is locked to (Cingular USA) and someone will very quickly respond with the unlock code for you. Enjoy the phone! I have one and it's great!
