Hi there,

I have a Motorola V50 which took some swimming lessons in the ocean. I´ve cleaned the whole phone inside and outside and I´ve used special contact spray. When I first connected the phone to the battery charger, I could see "battery is being charged" in the display. Wow!! Amazing!!
But now the phone doesn´t do anything anymore. I think it has something to do with the battery.

Okay, now my question:

Which contacts on the phone should I use to power it up?
I see 4 contacts, but I don´t know what is + and ground. I used google but no good...

Can somebody tell me?

thnx in advance... Joey

Dear friend,
maybe is not the answer to your question, but if you want to turn the phone on without battery,, just connect the charger to the phone without the battery, if the phone goes on and it says "insert the battery" then the battery has a problem if not then the phone is dead due to water damage in the clock generator for the power-on.
Good luck
