have you tried to copy the mmc BIT per BIT, keeping also the mmc serial number? mmmh... tomorrow I will try when I buy my new phone!

My uber geek mate reckons it should work if you use software like blindwrite. Kinda like making an image then copying that rather than just transfering the data.

N-Gage games and hardware have their own copy protection and the N-Gage wont play any old MMC card.
so the mmc has protection on it so it prob wont work

sorry, but I won't buy N-Gage any more... It's about a week that I'm going mad trying to chose from 3650 and n-gage... I chosed(?) 3650 for the camera... but I hate that crap keypad... now I will use my time trying(?) to make n-gage games work on 3650... anyone has detailed infos on the two phone's hardware? Tip: maybe you can use this prog to change mmc s/n.(rename file to .rar!).. was original a crack for an hdd serial protection.. Let me know!

I absolutely agree with you Yuppo,
it's impossible for N-Gage games to work on 7650/3650 - different platform, OS and hardware. That's why.
I'm in doubt buying 6600 or staying with my 3650 - what's your opinion, mate ?!?!

N-gage games wont work on the 3650 EVER.
I wouldn't say "never", but would say "might" work!
The possible protection could be the memory card format. I found that the N-Gage games are stored into SD cards and not MMC cards like the ones that the 3650 use...
So the copy protection could be the different data compression ratio present on the SD card... But this is just a thought...

The platform is the same, the OS is the same and so is the hardware (nokia says there is something diferent, but they do not say what...). CPU speed is the same, the N-Gage has no special GFX processor.

Has i said before, it's the memory card! That's the difference!
N-Gage uses SD cards (Secure Data) and the 3650 uses MMC cards ( Multi Media Card).

Acording to Nokia FAQ they use a "secure, protected, PROPRIETARY format".
That's oficial from Nokia. Why are you saying it's MMC or SD?

Must find someone with an n-gage... I WANT to try... If it is a SD(secure digital, not secure data as you say) there will be a lot of troubles... but why you can copy all files in memory without problems? need an ARM disassembler to make cracks... mh... so confused... uh-I wil buy a 3660!

I reckon i'll get a 6600 when this contract runs out, but that's not for ages yet so the 6600 will have been tested to death by them and i'll know exactly what i'm getting for my cash and whether it's worth it. I'd hang off for a wee bit
Hi guys... I have both 3650 and N-gage! MMC on both not SD.
I've tried to copy the standard game (Flo board) on 128Mb MMC (Pny) that I had and it works but no way to run any of the BETA games downloaded from Internet (like sonic or tombraider).
The games probably check the MMC but they are not very big so I think they could be cracked not so difficultly.
Do you know the language they are written? A possible deassembler? ;)

Some guy in another post claimed to have ran Tomb Raider on his 3650. He just put the memory card in his phone and booted the game form the menu.What do you think?

well, i highly doubt it, unless theres a few more ppl confirming its true, other wise, im waitin for it to get cracked or sth.

i doubt that is true because i have a n-gage and 3650. tried sonic on my 3650 and didnt show up. efilemanager didnt even boot up.
I think there is sum sort of file to recognize if the mmc is the correct one and not a copied one. so i reckon there must be sum sort of file which tells which mmc it is.

i agree, i dun tink tt guy is saying the truth, not unless he shows us a pic of him playing tt game.... and i aint gonna waste S$60 on a game to try!

A friend of mine told me that is possible to play N-Gage games on 3650 opening them with Nokia SDK and then resaving for 3650...
Can anyone try it?
he is playing sonic with his 3650!

How do you open it on sdk and save it? it is not a source code! it is alredy assembled! it's like to have a program written and compiled in c++, open it with ms c++ (how???? it is an exe...) and recompile it for unix... ok, this example sucks... but it makes the idea... not possible, based on what I know...

sonic plays fine on my 3650 got it off mirc, what is flight mode?.
it really does work without it.
as for buying games, apps, ringtones etc for my 3650, i have never had to fork out any money for any of it thanks to this site.

sonic u can play on 3650, as with puyo and puzzle bobble, but the 3650 really doesnt have the ram to play tomb raider or tony hawks, 3650 has 3mb of ram i think, n-gage has 12mb of ram
