you download user port from searching on google, but it don't mean shit!!
he reason why is becuase it only works on old O/S such as 98 no NT or XP. i read that up on a nokia site today, don't ask why were they talking about that cause i havn't didnt have time to read all their conversation!! keep looking and i'm sure you find answers

UserPort.SYS is a kernel mode driver for Windows NT/2000 that gives usermode programs access to I/O Ports. This makes it possible to access hardware directly from a normal executable in the same way as under Windows 95/98/ME. This driver does not work on Windows 95/98/ME and there is really no need to run it anyway because I/O ports are always granted to usermode programs on these operating systems.

copy userport.sys to the same directory as the div 8.4 exe file is in, then rename it to ntportio.sys.
STOP the userport driver and run the div8.4 program.

Hey Dragon100
I finally got rid of the error message following your instructions of running it in win98 mode.
But its asking for the dongle. I thought it was cracked, or have i misunderstood.
Any chance of some guidance please.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
I wanted to know if someone could sort out a problem of mine, I have a SonyEricsson T610 locked to Orange, I have the DIV 8.4 software and the dongle to go with it, I somehow can't read the codes of the t610, the dongle works fine with T68/T68i etc it's just that I can't get it to work with the T610, any help would be highly appreciated.
Cheers

Hey da_genious
Any chance its the lead thats at fault?
Have you checked it out, maybe a dodgy ground connection or something.
