good news guys...3650 plays n-gage games...i played tombraider on my 3650...you wanna know how???well it's just so simple....
a friend of mine bought n-gage and pandemonium +tombraider...i took his mmc game card and put it in my 3650.and to my surprise the game icons where in my desktop.3650 is so cool...n-gage sucks...the only thing n-gage is superior to 3650 is mp3 stereo and radio...that's it...
so buy a game if you want to play it on either 3650 or n-gage.
don't download any game because none of them work...nokia wants to sale...either way she wins...

and anyway, ngage doesn't suck. mp3, radio and STEREO speakers doesn't suck at all. its juz short of infra red and camera.

Nokia said that the series 60 phones wouldn't be able to read game cards. Why would they say that, if they could be so easily confronted?

ofcourse i played the game and it was so cool...i don't need no fu**ing proof...it's real...and it's happening.i won't take any photos...i don't care...do what you want...it worked for me...
if you don't trust me then the prob is yours...i will continue playing with my 3650 ngage games while you are buying ngage just to see the magnificent 3d graphics(my ass)...
it's the same processor same graphics,different machine.

I guess it's feasable. I mean, we've seen the tech demos on the 3650/7650 and they're pretty amazing examples of what the phones can do. The screens I've seen from the N-Gage don't look any better, so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to run them Hardware-wise.
Have to admit though, would be pretty stupid of Nokia not to create some kind of locking software to stop this happening.

The reasons I didn't trust you were:

2º I don't know you, it's nothing personal, but some people could make posts like yours just joking around. So don't expect me to believe everything I read in this forum.
3º If Nokia let this happen, they were pretty dumb, and their marketing strategies have shown time and time again that it is not the case. Those guys are brilliant, not stupid.

Because i honestly think someone tried that before you... And i think the fact that "nokia 3650 can play n-gage games" would be revealed very soon, if it was as easy as putting the MMC card into the 3650.

I thought it would work after i played flo-board on my 3650 it was plain to see the graphics didnt phase its hardware at all.As for the games being on a different format card i dont think that would work as the n-gage /3650 wouldnt see the card if it was in a different format.P.s i had a look through the n-gage with selec Q and found a few files named Unlock MMC and MMC app,i wonder if these files have something to do with game protection mmmm?

I would stop WELL short of saying the N-Gage sucks.
1: It has a layout more geared towards gaming. While you might prefer the 3650 (a very nice phone indeed), some will like how the N-Gage is set up better.
2: You are still playing games made for the N-Gage. To go so far as to say that the phone that led to the game you are playing, on a phone quite simular to the N-Gage... sucks, is a bit of a stretch.

I went upgrade my 3650 firmware to v.3.13 yesterday and some previous MMCs were working fine while some needed to reformat... pretty strange!! Dun know this could be the case if some 3650 might get lucky to be able to play N-gage game?

It is not possible to play the n-gage games on 3650. The 3650 is showing the Tomb Raider icon in the meny, but if you try to load the game you are getting the message app-error.

i bileve you but i want to buy a n-gage game but don't want to buy it and than see that the game is not working on 3650 cause i can't bring them back to the store and than i'm stuck to my n-gage game that doesn't even work so i want to see it with my own eyes before i but a game for myself

Same thing here , but with puzzleBuble , also copy n-gage games downloaded to MMC don't work , icon apears on the menu , but gives a system Error when run, the only N-Gage game i can confirm it does work on it is SpaceImpact Evolution X , this one i have on my phone and it's great (1.6 Mb intalation) it should probably also run on a 7650,has it is a sysbian .sis file so the probable compatabilyty , but it takes waaaaaayyyy too many memory on it , if anyone want's a picture of it i can post it to confirm it.

Space Impact and Nokia Game aren't the regular MMC titles though. At least for now it appears 3650 users are out of luck. Sorry... that does suck for you guys. May be you can find a way around it eventually, Tony Hawk is just coming out and it looks great.

It would seem that the floboard mmc card will run on the 3650 as i have run it myself,but lookin at the above it seems that proper n-gage games wont.I think this points to the fact that nokia have put some sort of restriction on the cards rather than a hardware limitation on the 3650.

A friend of mine told me that is possible to play N-Gage games on 3650 opening them with Nokia SDK and then resaving for 3650...

my buddy bought n-gage with sonic and tomb raider. i tried both games on my 3650 and I didn't see any icons nor I was able to play either one. So I doubt it if we can play n-gage games on 3650.

why? open your eyes and take a close look on that super ergonomic 3650 keypad :-))) after one hour of tomb raider, you while have to unwind your fingers

Thoose are not N-Gage games, but regular Symbian Games (compatibles with 7650, 3650 and N-Gage)

I was totally unware of the RAM ammount difference. I thoght that base hardware was the same except for the camera and usb port.
12 Mb it's a very gentle ammount for a portable device :D That's are really good news to me.

This is a great idea. I'll put it into my TO-DO list ;)
It will be a very slow solution so Games would run too slow to be playable. Anyway, It would still useful for not so cpu consuming (but memory consuming) applications.
I have downloaded the Beta version of Tomb Raider and Sonic N with Kazaa, and I tested them on my 3650, but they don't work. Perhaps the original game can?

Xan the beta versions of TR and Sonic N dont work anyhow(on Ngage either).You want the file names Tombraider working.zip.But it wont play on the 3650 anyway,many peeps have tried it including me.

Since 3650 has less RAM, and since N-GAGE is a dual processor machinne, one for the DSP audio handling auido and telephony tasks and the famous ARM9 at 104MHz for the aplications,the N-GAGE games won't run under 3650, it's impossible. The other day I read in a web that the 3650 runs under a ARM9 104MHz too, but I think it can't be since the 3650 is the 7650 with different desing and with support for XHTML (only a software upgrade) and MMC support. And you can see too that 7650 and 9210 are using a ARM9 at 52MHz, and as far I can go, 9210 will use a better processor than 3650, that's only logic. In conclusion I think the data about 3650 is wrong and it runs in a ARM9 52MHz processor, and the N-GAGE takes use of a ARM9 104MHz for the games.

just download the phoneinfo from my-symbian.com and see for you self that the 3650 have a 104 mhz cpu :-P

tomb raider runs on a software 3d engine, just like it did on the ps1, thats y in the days when the ps1 was out with pc, those using a 3dfx card or power vr card had better graphics than ps1, coz of the hardware graphics chip

well guys i dont know if this is already answered here but there is one file that is spreading tru the net its called blizzard installer. you install this on your 3650 and you can install games for n-gage which is in blz format. ive already tested this ang it work.... but you need a big mmc for this... :lol:

Okay i can say that space impact evolution x does not work with the 3650 if u just try to install it directly on the phone.. I tried.. I get the menu screen.. And when i try to play it says error -4 and shuts down..
i have to try this blizzard thing that everybody is talking abt

Space impact evolution x works fine on my 3650.Just copied file from my n-gage straight into the systems folder on the 3650 mmc.

I just saw some screen shots of splinter cell. Looks like this game is not 3d so I think there could be a good chance that once it is cracked we will be able to play it on the 3650.

or simple buy a 6600 and you can play all the n-gage games that are cracked on it 10 mb ram is alot for a s60 phone=)
