i'm searching a text editor for Nokia 3650..any suggestions?
simply write and save .txt files
I've read about Jedit and notepader but probably don't work on 3650...

Oh man! If you would know how long i've been serching for it!! But there just isn't ANYTHING like that! And it's not just that. 3650/7650 has great potential of functionality but there's noone to write needed apps!!
I even decided to write it by myself, but... that kind of objected coding used in symbian sdk makes my head hurt. And I don't have enough time to learn it...
Maybe someone can help me? Is there someone who can send me the most simplest source written for symbian app, and tell me how can I compile it without integrating sdk in that damned Borland C++ ??????? I prefer textpad & commandline compiling ;)

Man, you sux... lol, no offense... you've got a good text editor on your s60 cellphone.. it's called notepad n there's nothing like it.. Check i tout dude..

so maybe you can tell me how can I in this notepad open an external file for example downloaded with yftp??

you can search it with a filemanager and the simply select. ( it will be open in notepad)
there is only a thing i didnt like in notepad :
when i click note the files are shown as date of creation !!
i want the name !!! not by date creation a list like PC ...
1.TXT
2.TXT
Is it possible do this ???
i have made some text files with notepad but where are they stored i can find them with fexplorer, anyone knows where they are??

oh yes I didn't wrote.
The prob isn't opening it, the prob is to save it back in it. I want to download it, open it, modify it and upload back with the same name. download/upload= no prob. I jus don't know how to open, modify and then save into the same file...
