Nokia HDS-3

Hello, i just bought a nokia headset (OEM) and put it in my 7250, but for some reason the phone doesn't recognize it as the stero but as the regular one. I called Nokia up and they couldn't help because the 7250 hasn't been officially relesased in the states yet and they told me it was because my phone was from overseas. I know better than that. Can anyone give me the REAL reason why my phone is acting this way. BTW I have firmware 3.12.

well i cant see how that works coz when i put any headphones into my 7250 (handfress, stereo) i am able to play radio through either of them.

maybe 7250 is different? i thought only the cam and a few bits and bobs were different.. caller id pics, less memory :(

try normal headphones in your phone man to see if they play radio

Tried that too. Neither of them work. Everything else on my phone works just fine. I still don't know what the problem is. What firmware is your phone?

So should i update my firmware? Will that solve the problem?

i cant really say yes or no to that one but yes update ur firmware but i dont know if it will solve ur prob..

Looks that most new models r the same ,
i have 5100 & did bought a non original Headset & the phone recognize it as mono on radio ? & it drived me creazy to solve it & i couldn,t ,,,

So i guess my friend u had been cheated & have the non original one , or there is a trick on those models ( a kind of u have to program them on the new headset !!! but it,s not logic ) .
Any how i asked some friends have 6610 & they use any headset & works stereo ( original & non original !! ) .

i tried to search for a Diagram for it & couldn,t find it !
