Nokia 8310 Problem

I have a Nokia 8310, when I have it on it works ok, I send SMS messages fine, I top up fine, But when I ring people After about a minute I hear a strange loud tone, and i cannot hear the person on the other side....

The phone then is unresponsive, and sometiems resets....

Any Ideas anyone?

Buggy software version you need to upgrade software. if your phone is still under warranty send it to Nokia if not find some one in your area who can do it for you or if you want do it your self vist sales section for the tools

Well what do ineed to do this exactly?

Buy the flashing box cost about £250 for a decent one
Connect box to pc connect phone to box find your phones flash file and flash not as easy as that thou

Nah, I dont fancy the idea, of paying 250 for a box, when I mightnt use it more than on this once occasion.....

Is there no more options, and do u think this is defo the problem???

I bought it from a local car boot sale, is it possible it is a stolen phone and has been "blocked"???

It sounds like a software fault. just needs flashing with new software version if it was stolen you wouldnt be able to make a call at all. just find some one in your area who has all the equipment

well, u can juz go down to nokia care to flash ur fone. if its under warr, its free, otherwise, it juz costs a lil' bit.
