hi,
i bought a nokia 6610 that has been SIM unlocked, but the internet settings still remain locked into t-mobile's. i need to find a way to unlock this so i can set it up with suncom's internet service (which is the service i'm currently using). can anyone help? my IMEI is:
351540001603828
thanks in advance!

i have tried that code using a code generator software that i had downloaded (along with the #7 and #5 codes). it told me that the phone was not restricted, but i still cannot change t-mobile's internet settings. i had tried code #2, and the phone instead told me "not allowed." does this mean that my 5 attempt limit has been reached? am i stuck into some kind of hardware solution to remove the settings?

try this
Set up your Nokia phone for e-mail, WAP, or MMS services
if you are from Europe, Africa, Middle East
then press here
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,6771,32863,00.html
if you are from the USA
then press here
http://www.nokiausa.com/support/settings/
maybe you just need to change the network settings from here ?
if you have any more questions post them in the support area for the 6610 as this is not an unlocking problem

The t-mobile gprs settings on that phone are built into the firmware. In order to change the gprs settings on your phone you must update the firmware to a generic firmware.

I too, tried this, but my phone will not receive the SMS from Nokia. I think I'm stuck trying to find a hardware solution to this since more and more things are pointing to the firmware that T-Mobile flashes onto the phones. If I find anything else out, I'll post an update.
