View Full Version : Are Battries BL-4C & BL-5C compatable ?

Hi there ,
Any body knows if the BL-4C can be replaced with BL-5C on the nokia 5100 & 6100 phones ?
i,m asking this to get more standby time cause BL-4C is (720mAh) & BL-5C is (850mAh) .

They look the Same size & shape , but i,m not sure if BL-5C can fit into the 5100 .

BL-4C is about 1mm thinner than BL-5C.

Does that mean that they are interchangable? I remember when I had my Nokia 5210 and my friend purchased a Nokia 7250, I noticed his battery was smaller, but still the smae dimensions elsewhere, so I swapped them over when he wasn't looking. The 7250 battery is ment to have a higher power rating as well as the fact it's smaller, and we all know smaller is better!
