Hi Farsh.

Who told you about this?
Did they not offer advice how to do it?

I would be surprised (and pleased) if it was possible, but the only way I know to get my images (96*65 pixels) from my Digital Camera onto my 3510i is to use the F-Bus DataCable and load them from my computer using Oxygen Phone Manager II.

Of course, I could join a WebSite, send them to it, and then use WAP/MMS to download them, but I think that would be expensive.

Hi Farsh.

I had a look at the Nokia WebSite.

The camera is for use at home (for example) and it can send the Images to your 3510i after you have made a call to it.
It then sends the Image by MMS to your phone, also it can Email the images.

<Images can be received with following Nokia phones with colour-screen supporting MMS:
N-Gage, Nokia 3510i, 3650, 5100, 6100, 6220, 6610, 6650, 6800, 7210, 7250, 7650, 8910i. >

I did not have time to see the price. But it looks like an interesting device.

Hi Farsh.

I have looked at the features of the 7250i, and made 'some' comparisons with the 3510i.

It has a built-in camera, and LCD of 128*128 Pixels with up to 4096 colours. (only 96*65 for 3510i)

It is possible to have a picture assigned for callers, like assigning ringtones. (I would like this feature on my 3510i <sigh>)

It has InfraRed and connector for cable to computer etc. But not Bluetooth. (3510i has none)

Tri-Band means it will work in 5 continents. (3510i is only Dual-Band)

Can send as well as receive images by MMS. (only receive on 3510i)

Stereo FM radio. (3510i has not, <battery waster> lol)

Has "Auto-Answer" with Headset and Handsfree. (like 3510i, I use it)

But not Voice Dialling (3510i does have it, and I use it)

The cost is about 500 Euros. ( 3 times the cost of 3510i <ouch> lol)

So Farsh, you really need it? <smile>

Hi Farsh.

The 7250i is a new version of the 7250, but the 7250 cannot be changed to a 7250i <sad>

The main differences are:-

XHTML browser.
Slideshow MMS.
Picture Phonebook.
Grid based Menu system.
Camera now has zoom, and night mode.

Hope this is understandable?

P.S. Would you like me to buy you a 7250i, and Email it to you? <smile> <laugh>

Hi Farsh.

I was only joking about buying the 7250i, and sending it to you by Email. <smile> <laugh>

I noticed Oxygen Phone Manager V 2.1.6 was updated for use with 7250i.
V 2.1.7 Phonebook: Full support for controlling contacts' personal images added.
I will look to see if there is a newer update.

The cost of the 7250i looks like about 17,000 Roubles.
Maybe one day of work pay? <wink>

Hi again farsh.

I found this information on another Forum:-
Nokia DCT-4/7xxx/7250i

[Quote]
Hi there, the camera on the 7250i is ok but not the best, some other NOkia phones have camera resolutions of 640x480, the 7250i is only 352x288, but pics taken with the 7250i came out ok when transferred to the pc although some are blurred round the edges /[Quote]

I have attached the Images he posted.

Also, the Zoom feature is only active on the Image, after it is taken.

Hi, James!

Thanks for your info!

In Russia this phone coasts ~12.000 roubles. (~400$)

Thanks for pictures, I think it's good quality for phone camera.

The joke was fun, I told about it to my friends.

I started collect money!!!

P.S.

If it isn't hard for You, tell me please, how much memory in this phone?

Thanks!

Regards from me!

[QUOTE=farsh2002]Hi, James!

Thanks for your info!

Hi Farsh.

I have selected the information regarding the Memory and how it is used.

1-
[Quote]
Total user memory is up to 4 MB.
The following functions use shared memory that is dependent on the data quantity per item and shared memory available at a time in the Nokia 7250i:
Phone book (up to 500 entries) with possibility to add portrait-size picture to 100 contacts
SMS (up to 150 text messages or 50 picture/concatenated messages)
Calendar notes (up to 250 entries)
To-do list (up to 30 entries)
Fixed ringing tones (11 preset, not removable)

2-
The following features share a memory pool of 3.5 MB
MMS messages (max size 45 kB per MMS message)
Ringing tones in Gallery (20 preset, all removable)
Images (10 preset, all removable)
Java™ applications (3 preset, max download size 64 kB per application)
Messaging
Text messaging: Concatenated SMS, send and receive up to 3 messages, 160 + 146 + 153 = 459 characters, in Unicode 70 + 63 + 63 per message /[Quote]

It looks like there are 2 Dynamic memories, like there should be in the 3510i, but they are larger.

I hope you can understand the information?

Also, OPM II is now V2.1.8, but I have not had the Email from them for the update download yet, now it has better features for use with the 7250i.

Regards from James Watt

P.S. Maybe I can sell my 3510i, and get a ship to the Baltic to buy the 7250i in your local phone shop, as it costs much less than in the UK? <smile> <laugh>

Thanks again James!
I understood ewerything.

I think I collect enough money in 3-4 months, this phone will be a great present for my birght day!

P.S.
I don't realy think that trip to the Baltik for buying the phone will be cheaper.
1) You need a tickets to the ship.
2) You need to buy visa.
3) You will have to stay in a hotel for some days.

But if You think that it wiil be cheaper, I can tell You only one: Good Luck!
