Can someone please tell me where are the emergency numbers stored in
a 3310 flash file & how to edit them
wondering weather we can get free calls without sim card by editing emergency numbers like putting our own no instead of 112

alredy tried a lot of time ago: didn't work :(
btw with an hex-editor search the string "112"

i think the emergency number`s are stored in the sim-card! :/As M457 said, they're stored in the phone as ASCII strings. For 3310 v607, look at the routine starting at address (2)e30b2 - it checks for 999, 190 or 112 (depending on the profile bits) and returns the value 1 if it's an emergency number, or 0 if it's not. Easily changed to make ALL numbers 'emergency' calls...
I think it's a bit risky - the network is pretty likely to pick up that a phone without a sim card is trying to make a call & you could well end up having your IMEI barred for it. As M457 has already said it doesn't work, I wouldn't bother ;)

I'm sure it doesn't work ..
Some security holes must exist in Base Stations and other components but this would be downright stupid :)

you can call an emergency number without a sim card...

Ok.. But I can`t call 911 from norway!
Do you have some other emergency numbers?
