3310 emergency numbers

Can someone please tell me where are the emergency numbers stored in
a 3310 flash file & how to edit them
wondering weather we can get free calls without sim card by editing emergency numbers like putting our own no instead of 112

For 3310 v607, look at the routine starting at address (2)e30b2 - it checks for 999, 190 or 112 (depending on the profile bits) and returns the value 1 if it's an emergency number, or 0 if it's not. Easily changed to make ALL numbers 'emergency' calls...

I think it's a bit risky - the network is pretty likely to pick up that a phone without a sim card is trying to make a call & you could well end up having your IMEI barred for it. As M457 has already said it doesn't work, I wouldn't bother ;)

Some security holes must exist in Base Stations and other components but this would be downright stupid :)

you can call an emergency number without a sim card...

Ok.. But I can`t call 911 from norway!
Do you have some other emergency numbers?
