insert sim?

i have 8210's & 8850's all displaying insert sim when sim is inserted. can anyone give me any tips?

have you tried inserting a new sim?

that was first thing i did! have tried software but no joy.

I had the same problem with my 8250 i just reworked the board wit a Hot air reworkstation and the phone is now ok you could try this but make sure you dont over heat it...
