What are types are dct2, dct3 and dct4?

Can you tell me what types are that dcts?

And what is master codes for phones?

dct2:
phone before nokia 5110.

dct3:
phones that were made after nokia 5110, and don't have gprs or color screen, and nokia 9210. (not 9210i).

dct4:
nokia's that have gprs or color screen.


master code (or unlock code) unlocks your phone from your provider. when you buy a phone from an operator, you can only use simcards of that operator. after entering an unlock code your phone is unlocked and you can use any sim you want.

i don't think there are models that are defined as dct1..

all the old nokia phones, before 5110 are using the dct2 algorythm..if you find a very old one, that doesn't work with that algo - maybe this one would be dct1..
