Hi,

Thanks for the response and the unlock code. I carefully (and slowly) entered the code you posted using the instructions and received a "code error" on the 3 attempts I made. The instructions were very clear, and I double checked all the numbers at each attempt.

IMEI: 351509000132253, AT&T Wireless, USA.

This phone is new and has never been activated on a network. Not sure if that matters or not. On power up the screen displays "Insert Sim Card" which is normal as I understand it. Perhaps it's the wrong unlock code???

Is the 5 try limitation "5 trys per code" or 5 total trys only?

Thx,

Antillies

this is the correct code:

#pw+137554060577156+1#

you have 5 tries for all codes, so if you have used 3 you now have 2 attempts left.

code is

#pw+137554060577156+1#

not the one you were given before

it is 5 tries total so this is your 4th out of 5

sorry ...posted at the same time !!

Thanks everybody for all your help. The 4th attempt was successful. The phone responded with "phone restriction off". This is the coolest thing..

Many thanks...

would have doe it sooner if "someone" had'nt rushed their code in the first place....

glad you got there in the end..

you're right, but this is exactly the reason why nokia made 5 attempts..
