yup!

many. try searching the threads. newer versions of the softwares are built using windowsXP.

but why ask? all you need to do is download userport. or ask for it here. i have one that i could upload if you want. im using winXP with userport enabled and every software works fine!

Knok phoenix seems to work fine on XP os, with no need for userport from what i can gather :)

I've been unable to do flashing since I upgraded my OS to Windows XP.

Userport was only need as most old flash software was not communicating with com ports in XP/2000.
Most new ones are written using XP so userport is not required.
Its an extension of what you can do in your bios.
