I tried to unlock it but it doesn't work :(

I followed the steps

Remove the SIMCARD from your phone & Press #
Press *key 3 times (you get p),
Press *key 4 times (you get w),
Press *key 2 times (you get +),
Press code (15 digits),
Press *key 2 times (you get +),

But I am not sure for this part with the ...
"Press lock digit (you see it in the calculated code)"

after the 15 digits + *key 2 times (you get +) and there is the 7, I pressed 7 and got it. But I don't know what is the "lock digit" is it the "7"

at the end I have press the "#" and I had an error code :(

Have I missed something, please.

Power down phone, wait 15 seconds, remove battery, remove SIM. Replace battery and power up – “Insert SIM Card” displayed.

Type the following as instructed:

a. #
b. * three times for “p”
c. * four times for “w”
d. * two times for “+”
e. Type the 15 digit code (Carefully!)
f. * two times for “+”
g. The number “7”
h. #
Message such as "Phone Restriction Off" displayed if correct code entered. Code is unique to only this IMEI number/phone. You have 5 attempts to get code right.
