Verify that the phone isn't already unlocked by inserting SIM from another provider. If phone is locked, try this code. If no good, wait for another reply.

Power down phone, wait 15 seconds, remove battery, remove SIM. Replace battery and power up – “Insert SIM Card” displayed.

In other words wat sim card works in the fone

If the handset was purchased in the Philippines, it is likely locked to a provider there and not Singapore. You will need to determine the carrier to which the phone was locked to in that country.

If you exceed five incorrect code entries the phone will need to be unlocked with a cable. Be very careful.
