View Full Version : Big ROMs with GoBoy 1.4?

I've installed AppMan, but that doesn't look as if it's gonna help me run the 2mb games.

What/hwo do you people run the bigger roms?

Got 2.9MB left on the phone, all my other stuff is on my 128MB MMC.

Depends on the game... Zelda Oricle of seasons wouldn't play on v1.12, but plays on v1.13 because of the sound support. All you have to do is run it once with sound support, then when the sound support runs out you'll have to load the save via the (c) menu.... for others, I don't know about the size problem... I haven't really tried.

The best way that most people have found for those big roms is to install flight mode on your phone. You do have to take out the SIM card, which kinda sucks, but at least you can play them. :)

For some reason I can't get my flight mode to work. I use the system utility app and set it. It resets the phone telling me to remove the sim card but when I do and turn it back on it gives me an error that there's no sim card. I'm thinking it might have something to do with one of the other apps I have. it's a task manager I forget the name off which I want to uninstall because it's kinda slow...

i cant get metal gewar solid to work in version 1.3 +, works great using flight mode and version 1.2, but any later versions refuse to play it

well, it depends wats the app. for example, u installed stools, which is from psiloc, it might be due to another psiloc app in conflict.

CBA with flight mode to be honest with you.

Will probably reformat my phone at some stage and try it fresh.

Do the big files successfuly work on a 6600?
