You can now use the phone for voice on any GSM carrier.

The reprogramming for GPRS on a 6610 on T-Mobile might be a little dodgy. I have an unlocked 6610 originally locked to T-Mobile, and will likely have to flash the phone to get the GPRS to work on my current carrier. I cannot program it through SMS or the Nokia site……

At the price of data pre kb, I wouldn’t be too concerned about it myself.

Text messages work just fine, BTW.

I have been messing around wid ringtones for my Nokia 6610 for a while now and none seem 2 work rite unless directly downloaded via WAP or paid for to be sent 2 me via SMS. Wat would you suggest the best way is to get around this and still make the tones work correctly on the fone ?

On the fones Settings menu
Securaty
there is an option that says reset to factory value Code usualy is (12345)
