I have been unlocking phones, changing led lights for quite a while now, recently I have been upgrading different Nokia models and have a few queries.

1) I have a Nokia 3310, which I would like to upgrade so it is possible to read/write Arabic. I have successfully loaded language pack F, which supports READ Arabic, but have yet to discover a flash file, which would be able to write Arabic. I have been told in this post: http://64.239.47.45/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36570 that 3310 v5.13 Package F has Arabic writing capability, and that it is in the T9 dictionary. However I do not have this file, and do not know where to download it from.

2) I have successfully upgraded my 6210 > 6250 however I have not yet been able get reception on 1800 MHz. I have read several documentations and gone with the instructions from this post http://64.239.47.45/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=35595&perpage=15&pagenumber=1 and still I am I unable to get reception on 1800MHz. I have read the instructions on this post http://64.239.47.45/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36379 where gsmcity.de member Kham talks about typing in *#7370#. Can someone please confirm whether this actually works, as I have had no luck. N.B reception was found on all 900MHz UK networks when the upgrade took place.

3) I have successfully downloaded FlashTone 2.02 (cRACKED bY y0KE). Can someone please be kind enough to summarise what are the procedures needed to upload extra ringtones in the phone.

4) One2One UK network operator are now in the process of blocking their Nokia 8310 One2One mobile phone contracts so it can only be used with One2One and no other network. Has anyone got any clue on when possibly a DCT4 cable will be out to unlock this phone with the software to support it.

Also is there any website or link where I can download the standard ring tones which were allocated to the following models.

3210/3310/3330/8210/8250/8850/6210/6250. I do have some of the latest MCU/PPM files for the above models. Can I simply use these files to extract the ring tones from i.e. Lizst 8850 > 3310. I have also been told that the most common problem is no network coverage when the added ring tones have been uploaded to the phone. Does anyone have any solutions to this?

Can you please tell me the maximum number of ring tones, which one can put in the following phones. I have been told that it is possible to put 100+ ring tones in a phone, however I do not yet know the procedure.

Please can you send me 3310/8850/3330/8210/8250 READ/WRITE T9 Arabic language pack to me.

As hotmail does not support large files, please can you send all files to: [email protected]

Any questions please e-mail me at [email protected]

Once again. Many thanks go to the board and all its members.

@jj08: I was added my own tones to my 3310. And now my 3310 have 50 standard tones that 's my own tones. The procedure is:

1. Use one dummy flash for 3310 from your version.
2. Change the tones by flashtones. Use your own tones
3. Save it again to the same name file.
4. Extract it by new RingTonemanager.
5. Add your extracted *.re to your flash file, and..
6. Enjoy.....

I was done successfully .. So, try it... and let us know about your result..

@yasser: Dummy flash that I mean just a sample of your flash file, so that file will be extracted to ringtones directory and including *.re files.

for sample, you have 4.35 version, save it as name: 435_tones.fls and this file that you change by flashtone. And save it again in same name for not confused later.
And this dummy file (435_tones.fls) you must to extracted by ringtonemanager.

I hope you get what I mean, and sorry about my ugly english... /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif))
