Please help me! i have just bought a sagem myx5 and now i can't find;
* anywhere to unlock it, successfully
* anywhere where i can download ringtones and wall paper, i can only find websites for sagem myx5 with a different network to mine (virgin Mobile).
*(These downloads must also be sent to me by text)
PLEASE HELP ME! i thought this phone seemed good, till i got it and can't do anything with it!

Hi chrissy,

unlocking it is pritty easy..... but there is a good chance your going to need a data cable(maybe not!)... but the good thing is when you've got the cable (about £10ish) you can send ring tones etc straight to your phone for FREE!

can you give me you IMEI number? (you can get this by pressing *#06# on the phone) then i can give you whats called an mm3 code with that (with luck)you can *try to enter hotline menu(service mode) on your sagem,we need to do this to get some info from your phone so we can unlock it!

once I've got your imei number I'll explain the next step

hi...

right remove your sim and turn phone on... will say sim missing or something like

new enter *226632623X6(don't forget the * )

in place of the x enter 2


Press "YES" or "OK" then you should see the clock and date screen, press "OK" twice.

Then on the phone press:
DOWN
*
DOWN
OK
OK
(prom-read/write)

You will now see a screen that says Index in the top left hand corner, type in 191 and press ok.
You should then see some codes on the screen, write this down
Press "BACK"

then press "OK"

Now you should see the index screen again, this time type in 252 and press OK.write this down
do the same for 5251,16128,5709

post these fields here and I'll try give you your unlock code.


note: if the initial mm3 code does not work, you can try changing the "x" to a 0, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9, but the "2" usually works and is the one to try first.

if none of these mm3 codes work then you'll need a cable to read info from your phone.

first you need to use sagem tools by gsm funny to set the phones baudrate to 19200

THEN use sagem dr to read feild 5709

Can ne1 help me unlock mine. My IMEI is 35103035681879-1, I have tried following these instructions, but it doesn't work. I do not know where the part of adding 2 instead of x comes from....I don't know how the number 2 was derived at. PLease help. Thanks in advance
