Some people thought that the 6600 do not support wav files- the reality is it DOES SUPPORT WAV, in one condition... the wav file should be saved in the memory card. If you chose "memory in use = phone memory" in the messaging options setting, you will not be able to playback the received wav file. But there is a work around: set "memory in use = memory card" in the messaging options setting so you can playback the wav immediately upon received, and save it to your mmc card so you can use the wav as ringtone. This is a bug in the current version v3.42.1, and I hope it will be corrected in the next version release.

I read from other forum that all the .wav file must be put in "soundclip - digital sound" folder. It will play. It is mentioned in HELP file in the unit. Since I do not have 6600, therefore, I don't know this will help or not.
