I cant pres # after unlock code on nokia 3390. every thing but #. Is anyone knows what to do?

3390 is a dct3 fone
yes you can press # after the lock code but the code must have 10
numbers like this #pw+1234567890+1#
and not 15 numbers like this #pw+123456789012345+1#
