View Full Version : RolisFlasher478 and 479 error message! HELP!!!!

Hi!

When I try to run rolisflasher478 or 479 on my windows98se I get this message "External Exception error C000001D"

I've also tried to read topics in this forum about the same problem, but they don't give me any good answers!
Like this topic for example:

Can anyone tell me what's wrong, and what kind of files or systemfiles i need to install!

what processor does your computer with win98se have?

the reason I'm asking this is that on my 486-DX66 machine it does the same thing with Win95b

Hi!

Well the thing you describe here might be the problem! I try to make it run on a 486-DX100!

Any suggestions a_dude? Do I have to get pentium to make it work?

And once again, thanks to all of you who are trying to help me out!

well apparently the programming routines that are running in Knok95 etc and cause that exception fault are looking for a pentium class computer

i guess the programmers didn't trap that in their error routines or something like that

anyway I'm looking for a fix too but in the meantime I'm flashing with
Rolis DCT3 Flasher Version 4.71

And updating FAID etc with Rolis NokTool 1.9 Build 001

Also use some others since some of these programs are quirky, but they get the job done for free... can't complain... can only congratulate...
