Hi, I tried it and got "code error" and a stop sign. What can I do next?

Now when I put the SIM card back in, instead of just the name "Cingular" it says "Cingular Extend". Does that mean it is now unlocked?

try an other sim card
not CINGULAR
to see if it aint unlocked already
ifd it is still locked try this code

Not sure why, but the phone is now confirmed unlocked after putting in another network SIM card. Thanks to all for your help,
