hi there.....tx for thr reply.......presently i m still using 3650....thinking to upgrade to 6600. wat r the items tat 6600 cannot be install.......presently i hv ....eti camcorder......camerafx.....eprofiles...stacker.....launcher.....appman.....fexplorer...screensaver....skin editor.....n a few jar games like fifa......majong.....pac man ...bomberman........do u think all tis is able to download into 6600??? pls advice.........

well, some one mentioned bout an error eti gave to his fone. well, its better u wait longer b4 getting a 6600. theres no rush.

Well, just tried to install some apps into my 6600 and nothing worked even though I was connected to the 6600 through bluetooth.

ETICamcorderPro - Doesn't work
IrRemote 1.3 - Doesn't work
Killer Virus 1.0 - Doesn't work
even BOUNCE - Doesn't work

Don't know if it was something I was doing wrong, but I have installed all these apps and many more into my old 3650 and they work just fine.

Oh well, the 6600 is still a great phone... guess we just have to wait till we get some new killer apps that work with it.

Upgrade... the 6600 is a great phone and will be greater as time goes by it will only get better as the apps catch up and people start making apps that work in the 6600.

Like I said earlier, ETICamcorder Pro didn't work... Fexplorer u don't need cuz 6600 has one built in already... Havn't tried to install any of the other cuz I don't use them.

My 6600 is great so far... I really can't complain. Even though the Apps for my 3650 didn't work, I really don't miss them that much other than the IrRemote 1.3 The display is really super crisp and clear and so are the images take by the camera, as compared to my old 3650.

Yes the price is kinda expensive but it seems to be going down everyday and more units arrive on the market. Last time I checked they where selling the 6600 for approx. P24,000 pesos or S$755 Singapore Dollars, open unit.

i can say if u can get the price of 850....u better get it fast...

it is CHEAP ALREADY...the cost price for the phone is quite high too..

It's already 24,000 pesos in cebu? Here in manila I bought it at 25,000 pesos last monday at authorized nokia dealer.

At black market, it is even more expensive at 26,000 pesos average.

6600 is a great phone but most of the applications are not working so far. In tons of application I tried, only SMSCounter, Mp3Player, Worldmate, Mona, AppMan, WorldClock, Answering Machine, Space Doubler, Switcher, PDF+, QuickWord, and Image Express are working.

Thank you very much guyz for the info.......anyway me cannot resist the temptation .....i got myself a 6600 oredi. price at S$830, not a bad price i believe........


anyway, some info for u guyz......i hv install eprofiles, fexplorer, photoeditor, screensaver and eticamcorder lite in 6600....so far so good......... :-P

Sad to say the cam cannot record sounds....only image........still hv to wait till someone does the magic again...... 8-) .....

just want to ask u guys, when using eprofiles pro and the backround u choose is an image in animated gif format does the animated gif runs in ur standby mode screen??.............coz in my 6600 dont........it used to be running in my 3650........

Some of them work and some dont. and som times u just hv to ignore the warning like "this program is not compatible with this device"......

It works even with sound on if you are running V 4.09.1. At least for mine :D
The only bad point is that the video lags.... something like 5 frames, a 200ms pause 5 frames,.... (even with sound off...)

i got many of those apps running pretty well ETI wifout sound thou, Photographer like always is a pain in the a*s but ir remote works perfectly well so as many other apps

hey warrior, nice to listen that eticamcorder lite works on 6600 .... i m so very frustrated cos i tried n downloaded 10 different SIS files for eti camcorder from 10 different sites, but no1 work. dude, can u pls mail me the eticamcorder lite.SIS file, i'll b really thankful to u :sad: ......
