so entering codes without the SIM card in the phone does not count to the amount of times u tried to enter codes?

I've tried to enter the codes a total of 4 times now WITHOUT the SIM card in the phone.

Im affraid if I enter it one more time, my phone will be locked up for good.

Please tell me if it is ok or not to try to enter the code you've given.

entering the code with the sim card out does count as a try

what crashynot is saying is to try another network sim card...not enter any more codes yet...the phone may be unlocked already !

browntoa - thx for clarifying. I tried an AT&T sim card and the phone said invalid card. So I guess its not unlocked.

What should I do?

Double check you fones details

What will happen if I entered it and it doesn't work? Since this will be my 5th time entering codes to the phone, will it locked up the phone for good? If it does not work and locks up my phone, do I have other ways to unlock it or am I toast?

if need be the phone can be unlocked with bwinlock software and an Mbus/Fbus serial data cable (not usb), or you could take it to a shop with a griffin box and they can do it direct...

it will only stop a code unlock so do not worry

Dont worry it wont lock up your fone for good
you will still be able to use the fone with the original sim Card
and you can still unlock it by cable and software

with a unlocked fone the only other thing you can do is use other Providers Sim Cards, Nothing eles
