Lets post all confirmed working ngage games here so people can look here if a game works or not on their phone before trying. I´ll update the list with every new post you make.
Some info:
You do need Blizzard N-Gage Installer v1.0 to intall this files.
Sonic works fine on my 3650 v2.5 witout flightmode.
Yes, the gamename.blz file must be put in teh root of the mcc card for the installer to recon the file.
v.2.5+ stands for working on version 2.5 and above.

well, its worth a try, all u need is system tools too, cause u can onli play via flight mode. i tried sonic, and its great.

Sonic R and PUyo Puyo works fine on my N6600, BUbble Bubble dont run it does a blank screen and come back to the menu...maybe there is sthg to do with the fly mode??? (but i dont know what it is sorry :)

Else i can try the other games but if they r in BLZ file thanx!

Damn, ive got the sonic blz but the puyo pop one came in loads of files like i said. Strange thing is it was uploaded by a 3650 user, i guess he just didn't try it first.

I can confirm that Super Monkey Ball DOES NOT work on the 3650, not enough memory.

i cant extract the tonyhawks blz file from the rar archive, ive tried it with power archiver and winrar, both give me some crap about volumes, any body know wats up??

just delete its folder. You can find it at e:\system\apps\whatever

What you do is create a folder on your desktop or somwhere. Now open the tony hawk's zip file and there should be 4 main files in it. Just right click on each one in turn and go to extract. Extract them to the folder you created.

Now, when you have done this for the 4 files, open the folder and you will see a .rar file and 3 files which are .r00, .r01 and .r03. Open the rar file and find the .blz file. Right click on it and go to extarct and save it somewhere.

You should not get any volume errors if you do this.

Well flight mode wouldn't work for me, so what I did was:

Because I had a 128mb memory card, I used the 16mb one that came with my phone and formatted it, erasing everything. I installed a file manager, the blizzard installer and sonic N on the card. I had nothing else on it whatsoever, even most folders (for images, video, sound, etc.)

I then restarted my phone so Sonic-N would show up in the menu. It played with no problems.

I tried it too.. I'm another one of those dormant readers that doesn't generally post... but this sparked my interest and I gave it a go.

My 3650 runs Sonic and Puyo Pop fine in Flight Mode... not quite enough memory in normal mode though.

Sonic is a great game, although I don't know if I'll want to restart my phone and risk losing my sim card just to play it.
Someone said you don't need to take out the sim but that doesn't work for me. I think perhaps he did the same thing I did at first and thought it was in flight mode when it wasn't, just because the phone reboots and then "Flight Mode is Activated" thing or whatever it says comes up when you try running the tools app again after restarting. I'd like to be proven wrong though. The question is, can he run Sonic in his version of "Flight Mode"?

I think the rule of thumb is that if the size of the zip file you download would fit in your available RAM, then the game inside when extracted will have a good chance of running on the phone. The bigger the zip, the more stuff its likely to be loading into memory, so it gives an idea which games might work if you're looking for which ones to try.

It might not be totally impossible for someone to write a tool that creates virtual memory using swap files like we have in Windows or Linux... it should be possible to page to the MMC at up to 2mbps or so i read somewhere, so that might be enough to page data. I doubt anyone except Nokia would have the knowledge and resources to try that though.

What about the memory chips themselves though? If it's the same hardware, is it just a case of putting in bigger memory chip? Maybe there's a market there for someone to get N-Gage spares, and solder them in to 3650s and 7650s like the old PlayStation chipping racket, to make them able to fit huge games and ROMs in the memory?

Either way it would seem the real market is in making games that fit inside 2 or 3mb of RAM, but still look good... then they can be released on all the devices from 7650, through 3650, P800, P900, N-Gage etc... just by recompiling and repackaging. Bring on the 2mb N-Gage games ;)

THPS and Pandemonium don't work on my 3650:
- whithout flight mode: "no memory, restart the phone!"
- with flight mode: a white screen, and the phone is blocked...

Anyone can solve this problem?

Sonic N works fine without flight mode

The blizzard installer works with the mmc so i doubt it, also sonic started as a 3.34Mb file but once it was installed it was well over 9Mb, i would've thought it would be the same with puyo pop, the blz file for it is just over a Mb so i would've though once it's installed it'll be over 3Mb, but i haven't installed it yet so i don't know for sure.

yeah i think the moto gp in that group is the sis file one for 3650, the one i meant was the one they brought out for n-gage, bcoz that looks decent. virtua tennis also looks good.... :)

I tried to install 'tomb.raider.starin.lara.croft.final.nokia.ngage.symbianos6.1.cracked-blzpda.zip' on my 6600, and the installer find the file tomb.blz, but when im installing it the phone kills the program in the middle of the installation, even though I have a total of 20mb left on my MMC! What should I do? Isnt this the same version that you guys get to work? If not what do you use?

I tried to format my MMC several times and installing Tombraider when theres nothing on the disk but it doesnt help!

i have the nokia 6600 and i installed Pandemonium and it works but after i finish the first level it says App Closed. it doesnt go to the next level.

does any one know what the problem is or how to fix it?

Just tried to install 'super.monkey.ball.final.nokia.ngage.symbianos6.1.cracked-blzpda.zip' on my Nokia 6600, the installer says that the installation is sucsessfull and it quits the program and the .blz file is removed automaticly. So far so good. But when I try to start the game it instantly exits, no intro or whatsoever! So damn frustrating when everyone else says that this games works on their 6600!

So far the only games I working for me is:
-Sonic
-Puyo

Games not working:
-Puzzle Bobble VS
-TombRaider
-Super Monkey Ball


Some people talk about flight mode, do you guys enter that in order to get the other games work or how do you do it?? : (

i have the same problem (im using nokis 6600), when i click the icon on monkey b, it blinks then goes to the main screen on the phone, but when i click the monkey b icon again it opens and works.

the game (monkey b) doesnt have any sound, is it my fone or is this normal?

also pandemonium crashes after i finish first level, it says app closed. does this happen or is it a problem with my phone?

Also, on Puzzle Bobble, i think if they left it alone it would have been better. I mean, it has the worst aesthetics of any of the games. How annoying are the "cutscenes"??! Not only that, but the actual "Shooter" is so small, its hard to correctly estimate where it'll land.
Puyo pop is a much, much better puzzle game...

after downloading, run it, mirc window bring up, fill info (user name, e-mail etc), and click connect to server, after connecting bring up window with mirc faworites, type in #medipalce, after that follow up instructions bellow

use these commands in the main channel to find the fserves and triggers .
!list - shows all the active servers and there triggers

get filename - will get the file ( you need to type the hole filename plus the

MLB SLAM: Works ok, but some pictures and logos are corrupted.

To make things clear for you, N-Gage and 6600 has different operation system (newer), 64K colors which especially in games can be problem (when application uses direct screen access and it's programmed for 4K you may see green-blueish crap only) and there is lots of major changes as you probably know already from Series 60 version number which is btw 2.0. 3650 is 1.1 and 7650 0.9.

So there is no guarantee that software which is builded and tested on Series 60 1.x will work on Series 60 2.0.

6600 is only Series 60 2.0 phone, other manufacturers have Series 60 1.x (X, SX1)

I don't know why you are getting the error..
it works perfectly for me..
maybe its a different issue with sound..
try installing again and see..

I've got the exact same problem on Pandemonium. After level 1 the game crashes and exit.
But since it can be played on some 6600 it's probably a bug on some release or just some problem with firmware.

i wont belive it runs perfect before i see it... SX1 has 65k colours wich means splintercell colours will be fucked up... and also in sonic on non-full screen. and one more thing... no 8-way pad so its impossible that it runs perfect...
