what does it mean "reball kit" and what is using for?

Some chips are conencted to the pcb with little balls of solder underneath the chip... reballing means remove the chip and the solder, make new balls and solder it back to pcb. It's not an easy job... you need to have specialized tools to do so...

if you removed a ccont,haggar, cobba,etc.. and you have to put it back again, you have to use reballing kit to replaced the old balls of the IC. this is very usefull if your over heat the Chip..and all the balls underneth of Chip are melted already and you cannot put it back again without using "reballing kit"

but of course using the old Chip and putting a new balls is not 100% sure as you put a new one.
it its good only for remedy or place which parts is not available.
