View Full Version : 8210 to 8290 IMEI ??????

Hi all, flashed my 8210 rom 5 to 8290 when finished i get contact service, opened nokia tool-jordik to Faid, hit read phone info, IMEI comes up, 000000000 , orig IMEI comes up with 6565656565, now I know I have to change the IMEI to original but how ???????
Tried IMEI pro but couldn't do it, so I'm thinking that i'm doing something wrong right ???????

Nokiatool Rolis and change imei.
But 8290 it is only for USA. Kanada

Like 'Visar' said they are for U.S./Canada. What you did was flash your 900/1800mhz phone w/a 1900mhz flash.

So you have more than imei problems, the phone will also never find network.

Go back to your original flash hopefully that you backed up w/eeprom data and call it a day.

Cheers guy's just realised that I typed 8290 instead of 8890 but thanks all the same everything is find and working again thank's.

umm im at 2 different sites,
one is the one above,
one site has a-d in ppm's and one has (your site) has a-g in ppm's ???
which ones rite?

How's it going, if you go to downloads on this site you will find the mcu-ppm files give them a go it's more straight forward.
