I've been wanting to put geopod on my mmc for a while now but everytime i tried to install it i got the memory full delete some data error. When i downloaded space imapct x i got the same problem but this time i wasn't going to give up. The problem is there was nothing that i could really delete from my phone memory, all thats on it is fexplorer (which i stacked so it was only about 40kb) and my contacts. You see i've got so many apps and games installed to my mmc that the ini files etc that get installed to the phone had used up so much memory i had under 2mb free.

The solution-I went into the camcorder folder in c/system/apps and sent the camcorder.app to my pc, then i deleted it from the phone, this gave me the space i needed since it's about 250kb. I installed all the apps i wanted to then replaced the camcorder.app. Hope this helps other folk with the same problem.

BTW space impact x is pretty good, you can get it from my yahoo group.

Why is the only file in that folder (well, on my phone anyway) a .ini file which is only 12kb in size?Hmmmm.....

Oh and the last line of your sig is hilarious.

I dunno, i'm on v2.50 and there is loads of smaller files in the folder including an ini, but it's even smaller at 121b. Maybe it all depends on your firmware.

All credit for the last line of my sig has to go to the mighty Wayne Static. It's a line from a song called "Love Dump".

Still not there.

Ah, it's not important anyway. I'm running fw 2.5 aswell.

That's a strange one, do a search with fexplorer or another file manager and see where your camcorder.app file is (just out of curiosity). I'm thinking about deleteing the whole camcorder folder since i used pv player for viewing vids and camrec or eti for taking them.
