I have a NOKIA 6610 fone that is imei blocked in AUSTRALIA. Can I take off the IMEI BLOCKING from my handset?

only the provider that blocked your phone is able to unblock it, as the blocked imei lists are at their computers (not on your handset).

you can change your imei to make your phone work, but it is hard, expensive and illegal, and it involves hardware modifications.

the best option now is to sell it to someone from another country and buy another one.
