Undeletable message stuck in outbox!

Hi

I tried to send a message but was told my memory was full. It did actually send the message (I asked the person), but it is still in the outbox. There's no delete option, and the phone seems to act as if it is currently in the process of sending the message.

It won't go if I restart the phone, and I think it's causing my awful battery life (10 hours) that suddently came on.

I'm experiencing the very same problem, crap battery life etc. I'm hoping one of the file manager programs will let me delete the message in question but I need pointing in the right direction as what to look for. I understand the latest firmware will sort it out but they are wanting to charge me a fortune to do it.

well, if u guys wanna try using a file explorer to delete the sms, go to e: or c:/system/mail/(1st folder), the sms will b in one of the 16 folders a-f, 0-9. if its not there, try the 2nd folder in mail, coz im not sure if the 1st folder includes the outbox too.

or u can try backing up ur fone to mmc, den format the fone, den restore the fone.

I haven't done this but, go to the email and I think you can get the date/time of it up.

Then use a file browser to go through the emails and find one of the same date/time, then you can hopefully delete it.

You should make sure 'messaging' is closed when you do it.
