I'm trying to unlock an e105 from T-mobile for a friend and saw on ebay a device you plug in to the phone. Does that work anmd is it worth the $99 it cost? or is there a better way to get the unlock code? Thanks

Put this a foreign sim and type in *#9998*3323#.
This will unlock the sim lock until you turn off your phone.

Hi, i am new here and need some help. I bought a sprint phone on ebay, it is a samsung a460. i finally bought the msl code yesterday and activated the phone on the local network but it only works analog. the sprint programming only allows one SID and the local needs two for digital coverage. if i get a data cable can i upload different firmware to change this?

Anyone else trying to unlock a sprint pcs phone? This is what i have learned so far: You have to find the MSL code in order to get into the programming, but this does not guarantee 100% functionality. These codes are different for every phone, it is six digits so good luck trying them all...i made it up to 000020 :-P . I have also learned that programming sequences for these phones will be different for diff carriers: to get into service menu for some is MENU - 0 - 1 - 0 but for mine it is MENU - 9 - 0. the code 040793 seems to work for many A460s & A500s -but what this menu is for i donot know -it is a DEBUG mode? Also entering the MSL once you have it will be diff for diff carriers, for this sprint a460 it is ##MSL. and you have to enter that every time to change service program options.

I bought the MSL for $10 online, it was emailed to me within five minutes and now my phone is working, though only analog, well its digital every where else, just analog in the city...another story.
