changing font size in 6600. Possible?

I was wondering is it possible to change the font size in 6600? I've heard that you could upload new fonts to this phone. Is this true? And if you could upload new fonts then could you change the size of it?

This is very important so if someone could answer. And if you cannot upload big size fonts to this phone then what other model would you recomment for a guy who doesn't see that well? That's the reason I realy need big fonts.

I've seen some people talking about fonts but i think it had something to do with foreing characters or something.

hey, i've a 1 icon sample for series60 !!! just put it in c:\system\fonts !!! and restart your phone !!! until now, i've got no problems with that phone !!! if you got any problem, just tell me !!!!! :-D

Yes it is possible,

u can even set difrent fonts for difrents purpose, 4 example, u can set Arial for messages with size 5, and Comic sams 4 menus with size 3, if u know I mean :roll: (see attached image)

All u need is Easy gdr creator and some ttf fonts which u wont to port to phone.

After u getting right gdr file, just put them into c:\system\fonts something like c:\system\fonts\apocalypse.gdr do restart and enjoy in new fonts :-D

've heard that the upcoming 7710 will accept .ttf fonts right away :)

I jst can said that Im curently working on web site, with symbian tunning thematics, it will be ultimate freaking destination (quides, tutorials, downloads, faqus, ask guru section, etc) and another good news is taht site is almost done :D
