a300 help needed Please

been given an a300 from a friend who said it doesnt work..charged it up and powers on ok...
the phone searches for network connects but after a few seconds comes up no service.. maybe blocked ?

i have an original f/m bus cable from a t100 which works on my v200 but will it work on an a300? tried it but on every software i have it cannot detect the phone :(

t100 cable will not work on a300 you need a300 cable ............
