well, i tried the code,..message said something like,..phone no longer restricted, i put the chip back into the phone turned it on and it still asked for a security code? whats going on???

You will need a cable and software
to find security code
the code i gave you was a unlock code
will not remove security code!!!
usualy its 12345 or 00000 by defult

Yes I used it in US and still have T-mobile service but I want to use it in India for one month and when I put Airtel's sim card it began asking for code(phone restricted).
