I need to know if a text message can be sent to a mobile user in asia and vice versa from the Rogers AT&T network in Canada. Can anyone using the Rogers AT&T network in Canada send me a test text message to my mobile number ?... would appreciate a lot.

yes they can mate i know as my canadian friend when he goes back home he uses that network and he texts me fine in the uk and he txt all over the world

thanks sk3done. However i need to be sure. coz i am hoping to gift a phone to my relative in Canada. My primary reason for gifting this phone is so that we could keep in touch through text messaging. appreciate if anyone from the Rogers AT&T network could send me a text message.
