I created this thread to gather all the ideas about modding-help GODs to make new patches in Genolite-if these are possible to make!Please share your ideas!!!

but i think we don't need a new version because the PATCH functions makes the program able to make any new feuters by using this patch like the minute beep and the spy mode

if you have 3310,convert it to 3315 and you will have auto keylock.
With data cable you can unlock sec. code.

umm.. point key-unlock thing to security code or something...
(if keypad_locked & if press_unlock_keys go to enter_security_code... sounds easy but how to patch?)

well, like to see the inbox+security code
but preferebly leaving the original sec code untouched.
Kinda like copying the code..but changing the address where the sec
code is stored:)

I'd like my 3310 & 2100 to have such function like in 6210 - I'd like to see the call duration right after finishing it. I think it's more comfortable than looking through menu.
Is it possible to do?

maybe we don't need another g3n0lite version, just a fix on bugs...

g3n0lite scripting is powerful! just like Yak's scripts(SlideTweak, Acceptall, etc.), it is written for g3n0lite 2.0 and maybe some scripting gurus here can make scripts for the ideas you have in mind!

I was thinking about a patch like this(just for fun):

there are 8 LEDs in a 3310.
for example when you press the number 1 on the keypad,the first LED will go off,when you press 1 once more the LED will turn on.When you press 2,the second led will go off,......
What about this idea?

Or control the LEDs ´movement´ with : key 2 fades to te upper LEDs,key 8 to the lowers,4 to the left,6 to the right.

the LEDS on keypad is connected on parallel connection, so electronically speaking - a single LED on a parallel connection will behave like the others on their group, meaning - if one LED lights-up, the other will light-up too! SO that idea is impossible..MAYBE LED from Keypad lights and LED form LCD is off - that is possible!because they are separate parallel connections.....

what do u mean? when i press 1 or 2 etc i dont see any led turning off in my 310. :( :-?

If you press a shortcut (* and 0-9 key of your choice together) current time, date and weekday will be shown on your phone's screen. This one is ready and I'm testing it now. I should publish it soon.

2. Securer

Secures your inbox, outbox, erase read messages and reminders menu with security code! This one leaves the phone security function alone so it still works! It even asks you to enter the code if you receive a message and press the "Read" button. Additionaly you can enable or disable everyting through your phone's menu. This one is still in development but I'm very close now. I was trying to patch the keylock to ask you a code when you unlock the keypad but I wasn't very successfull. Maybe later.

All right, it took me some time but here you are, some of my new scripts:

What you will find inside the zip:
1. A complete documentation and script that will allow you to add your own strings to language packs in PPM.

2. A script that will allow you to use strings from PPM (for example your added strings) in menu items names added with g3n0lite's 'write menustructure' function.

3. A script that will (FINALY!) make menu items added with g3n0lite's 'write menustructure' not to leave the menu after selecting them (so they behave like original nokia settings items).

4. FASTWATCH script that will patch a shortcut activated clock with date and weekday name into your phone. You can display this clock no matter what you're doing, playing a game, writing a message or anything else. This one utilizes the first script for managing weekdays names.

fastwatch.gsc requieres count_ppm_strings.gsc (cause you need to add your own weekdays names to ppm),

menu_strings_from_ppm.gsc requieres count_ppm_strings.gsc only if you want to create a menu with your own name (then you have to add this name to ppm),

fix_5e0.gsc doesn't requiere anything, just patch it to already patched flash to make the settings menus not to leave the menu after selecting them but to stay at the previuos menu.

About the error... it seems that you havn't patched your flashfile with shortcut_main.gsc from krisha. Patch it before fastwatch.gsc and remember to set the Safe RAM value to 100014. That should fix the problem.

i used fix_5eo after patching fastwatch on my version 6.07 and its working it shows the time & date only when i press *7 but after a few days some errors showing only the time, the date vanish & shown a garbage character. any advice what to do
