Are you trying to remove a Mad2 chip thats glued down??

If so you need some glue remover, not widely availible becuase its such a hard job.

And if you do this professionaly, its probably not worth the effort.

Cheers

Hi to all,

To remove the mad glued you dont need nothing more than hotstation, same good flux, iron soldier and a knife (like the one the doctors use).
1- you must rehot mad with temperature +/- 270º (hotstation) and after 5 minutes just use the knife carefull and remove the mad...
2- put some flux on the board and with the iron soldier remove the exceed of irion that stays in the board.
3- rehot the glue carefull and with the knife start to remove it carefully but becarefull becouse you cant touch the pad on the board.
In 15 minutes you can remove it 100%, maybe you will demage some boards on the beging...
Here is one picture of one 5210 with cpu glueded.
I hope this helps you..
Sorry for my bad english.

Regards.
